About Me

I am a licensed Ph.D. marriage and family therapist specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. I maintain a private practice in Seattle, Washington.

With over twenty years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Nova Southeastern University specializing in brief, solution focused, cognitive behavioral, family systems therapies, I currently work with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise: relationship issues, conflict resolution, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, aging, pain managment, life transitions, family-of-origin issues, eating disorders, parenting support, work and career issues, and job displacements.

I have presented at International professional conferences and to general audiences speaking on topics about therapy, pain managment, hypnotherapy, and meditation. I am a AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and I offer supervision to therapists in their clinical practices. As a meditator for over twenty-five years, I have taught meditation in different contexts as a beneficial method for working with mind and emotions.

In addition to being a relationship therapist skilled in a variety of different therapeutic methods, I taught in a family therapy doctoral program in South Florida for several years. As an adjunct professor, I currently teach online psychology courses for Nova Southeastern University. My therapeutic approach offers support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.  I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to address individual client needs. With compassion and understanding, I work with clients to help them build on their strengths and attain the goals they are committed to accomplishing.
